Safeguarding & quality
Maintaining a safe, accountable and well-governed service
Feeling safe is fundamental to successful supported living. We aim to provide an environment in which residents feel respected, listened to and confident that concerns will be taken seriously.
Safeguarding
Concerns identified early
We promote a culture where concerns are identified early, reported appropriately and managed in partnership with relevant professionals and statutory agencies.
We promote a culture in which safeguarding concerns are:
- Recognised
- Reported
- Recorded
- Responded to appropriately
- Shared with relevant professionals where necessary
Risk management
Managing risk positively
Residents should be able to make choices and develop independence while being appropriately supported to manage risks.
Individual risks are considered as part of the assessment and support-planning process and reviewed as circumstances change.
Individual risk assessments are reviewed regularly and linked to support plans, incident learning and multi-agency communication.
